How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

BOOK AND CONTEST

!NineteenEightyOne has written a book on Doctor Who to be found here [link] and is holding a contest to see who can guess the true identity of River Song before the episode A Good Man Goes to War. Shockingly enough, the winner will win something.

DOCTOR WHO INTERNET

This blog will hopefully be the first of several issues. It has taken me a few days to compile Doctor Who things from the internet. Everything here is informative, quality fan work, or comedic.

However, these links will be described and listed in the next issue because I must first address certain group matters. As a new group, I find that it is important that you read this:

SUBMISSIONS INFLUX

No doubt several of you have noticed the large influx of art being submitted into our group. Being only the second week, I’ve been trying to find the bulk of quality Doctor Who art that’s been submitted to DA in the last seven years.

As a result, at least 800 works have been submitted. I have also created a separate folder for Davros/Daleks. Once this is all settled, submissions should not be so overwhelming. It’s amazing how much great Doctor Who art can be on one website alone.

Keep a look out for our Doctor Who Internet updates, and in the meantime, tell us what you think of the group.

Um, not that I can think of now, the rules are very well thought out and make complete sense!
Although I did notice that when I try to submit stuff it will only come up with the 'featured' option. I know my art is not that good, but still... Maybe it's just me...
