Doctor Who Internet brings you relevant videos, articles, and various fan projects of amazing, humorous, or historical relevance.

Paul McGann has recently been photographed in the new outfit for the eighth Doctor. Featuring a new sonic screwdriver and a satchel, the new look bears a close resemblance to the ninth Doctor. See the Doctor’s new clothes and read more here: [link]

DOCTOR WHO INTERNET

In order to give each link the attention it deserves and to keep these blogs short, the average amount of links hosted will be around five per issue. This blog will update on a weekly basis.

:bulletpurple: Tom Baker’s Website [link] Actor of the dearly beloved fourth Doctor from the 70’s and 80’s Tom Baker holds his own website. Here he blogs, posts photos, and has an extensive biography covering his early days to his time on Doctor Who, featuring excerpts from his autobiography.

One of the coolest features of his website is Tom Baker’s forum, where along with discussing the man himself and all things Doctor Who, you can ask Tom Baker a question. There is an archive of all previous questions, fifteen per month. They are very interesting and often times funny.

:bulletpurple: Mechmaster’s Second Empire [link] Mechmaster is the author and artist of a high quality total CGI rendered comic that tells the story of two Dalek factions battling it out. Not only is it of a quality higher that that of the Doctor Who animated series, but it is rib cracking-ly funny.

Besides the hilarity that ensues during silly moments between Daleks, the comic is littered with references from classic Who to Star Wars. Truly an amazing fan project that is still progressing today.

:bulletpurple:Doctor Who Movie: Enemy Within [link] Featuring the only on-screen performance of the eighth Doctor, the movie can be seen here on YouTube. An “American” style film by the BBC which is a precious jewel to be treasured. Why? For Paul McGann’s wonderful performance of course! :)

:bulletpurple:The Big Bang Two by Chameleon Circuit [link] A song by the Doctor Who band Chameleon Circuit about the season 5 finale. Chameleon Circuit’s cofounder Charlie McDonald is a famous British YouTube blogger (Charlieissocoollike) and cofounder Alex Day (Nerimon) has dubbed the Doctor Who music genre Trock. Time Lord rock.

:bulletpurple:Mr. Dalek Discovers the True Meaning of Christmas [link] Yes, you heard right. Karen Dunn has written a short story featuring our favorite character: Mr. Dalek. One can read the story with pictures or listen to the radio story itself by clicking the above link. Enjoy. ;)

That’s all for this week’s Doctor Who Internet, keep watching for the next issue. Tell us what you think of these links and have a Doctor Who filled day! :D

On behalf of America (and as a filmmaker), I would like to apologize for the Doctor Who Movie. It was a total blunder. They could have gotten a better script from some most fan fics that I've read. (Which is a complement to fan fic writers - not a dis!)

I'm so happy that Paul McGann has won over DW fans after that embarrassing movie. He truly is a talented actor - and he was fantastic as the Doctor! I only wish he had had a better spotlight for his role. I hope America never does anything that stupid again!

I can agree with you on that one. Though I think it was a combination of stupidity between the BBC and Fox (oh Fox you always kill the good stuff!).

Either way, I really like Paul McGann's interpretation. He's got a certain charisma or air about him. It's very relaxing and I loved his Edwardian Casanova-hair style. And now it's gone T^T

Alex Day is the founder of Trock, not Charlie. And they formed the band together

Yes you're right, they did found it together. And really Alex Day came up with Trock? I assumed it was a coformed idea. Thanks for the info. :)

I remember watching one of Alex's video's about it. It seemed it was his idea, but I could be wrong . . .

I did some reading up. Alex dubbed the term "Trock" but he did not invent the thing. Actually I have a link to earlier Doctor Who fan music. It'll be in this blog eventually. There's a quote in his website saying exactly so.
