Doctor Who Internet brings you relevant videos, articles, and various fan projects of amazing, humorous, or historical relevance.

As many have criticized of new Who, the sonic screwdriver has become the Doctor’s number one signature gadget. Starting out from a device in the second Doctor’s run that actually unscrewed screws, it now hacks electronic interfaces, unlocks things, ignites objects, and scans them. While this saves lots of plot-time, it also deprives the writers of chances to think up innovative solutions around these problems. Instead of the now-broken link documenting its usage, here is the top 11 uses of it with the eleventh Doctor: [link]

:bulletblue: 500 Miles [link] Of Whovians. A sort of response video to Tennant’s farewell version.

:bulletblue: TV Dalek [link] [link] The BBC have invented a Dalek that can move in sync with its tv counterparts. Take note however in the second link, that this will not be sold to the public.

:bulletblue: 10 Classic Who Moments [link] A list of significant moments in the Doctor’s life. Not only is it interesting, but it also chronicles the beginning of the Doctor’s life in a long stream, rather than separated by incarnation. Plus, the last moment listed is something no one will expect.

:bulletblue: The Movie [link] News of the Doctor Who movie has been very chaotic with Yates describing his visions as a new canon and break from the tv show. Well the Moff has something to say about that.

:bulletblue: Hello, Stonehenge! [link] Previously posted here, the Matt Smith Stonehenge speech spoken by Sylvester McCoy (seventh). This time with the added music and sounds, it becomes all the more grand.

:bulletblue: DIY [link] [link] [link] For the really enthusiastic, videos of fans who have created their own props of Doctor Who. A custom sonic screwdriver, and the classic consoles.

Bit late, oh well. Hope you all enjoy! I also encourage people to watch classic- as if this weekly blog hasn’t been any indication thereof.

:bulletgreen: I made some cocoa and got engaged.
Hartnell, Hartnell.

Sonic Screwdriver...it opens things mainly...LIKE A BOSS
I gotta say, I really really liked the Doctor Who collaboration. The best kinds of shows are the ones that gather people from all over the world and make them go, 'Hey, let's all join together and have fun!'
Moffat's tweet made me feel slightly better about the movie ^^; Still a bit worried though.
Oh man, that pandorica speech has become probably one of the most legendary moments in Doctor Who. But then again, who can say it isn't? It's such an epic speech!!
Pfft, retirement funds? Dude, you have a a piece of the TARDIS console. I think its worth it.
NOOOO. THE DOT RETURNS!!!.....*spends hours of life playing with dots*

... just clicked on the "Basically what happened at the beginning of series 5" expecting it to be a clip of when 11 hilariously summed it up in series 6 ... and what I got instead made me go "What?" I took a few moments' pause to laugh weakly, then snorted, and then went ... "Yeaaah, it's so true!"
