Doctor Who Internet brings you relevant videos, articles, and various fan projects of amazing, humorous, or historical relevance.

In the favourites section of our group is the Fantastic Art folder – basically an extension of our gallery. It is a nod to the works of art done by people who seldom visit DA or have left entirely. The quality shown in the folder is the same as it would be in the actual gallery. Oh and we now have a Cybermen folder.

AnyWho, onto the linking:

:bulletpurple: Dalek’s Ode to Waffles [link] A short thirty second fanfic to make you smile.

:bulletpurple: The Ten Doctors [link] [link] I’m sure that by now most of you dear Whovians know about this comic, but humour me- The Ten Doctors is a fan made comic about what happens when the ten Doctors collide. It’s all one big bonkers story featuring Daleks, Zygons, Commander Maxil... The second link shows the first few pages in colour by another fan.

:bulletpurple: Babelcolour [link] A nod to another fan of Doctor Who on YouTube who makes wonderful quality tribute videos of each of the Doctors. The first blog of this group linked Babelcolour’s wonderful tribute to Sarah Jane.

:bulletpurple: Anime Who  [link] Another famous fan project. If Doctor Who was an anime it would look like this. All done by one person, you can view different parts of it and making-ofs on YouTube.

:bulletpurple: Doctorin’ The  Tardis [link] An old song by KLF or more properly The Timelords. Like all old and cheesy things it makes me cringe but became number one in the UK Singles Chart in Australia and Norway. In 1988. A year before Doctor Who was cancelled. Beware.

A nice paragraph written by Tom Baker when asked about his time as the Doctor:

When I was the Doctor I mostly said what the writers wrote. I could love or hate anything from one moment to another. But people have often noticed how often I contradict myself. When I read the Bible, and I often do, I enjoy the Genesis scenes when, with everything just perfect, the girl, Eve, threw it all away for an apple. So to answer your question, I too have given up nearly everything for an APPLE. And my APPLE is at the very CORE of my life. A man without an APPLE is a poor wretch indeed. Without my Apple I would not be answering your question, Mark. So get an APPLE, Mark and be happy and regular. The meaning of life is an apple. Isaac Newton would have told me that if the writers on Doctor Who had written it up. And I could have posed the question: "Isaac", I would have said, "What's it all about?" And he would have said, "An Apple, Doctor, that's what it's all about, and don't listen to anyone who says otherwise. And especially avoid PC.”
