Doctor Who Internet brings you relevant videos, articles, and various fan projects of amazing, humorous, or historical relevance.

In the sixties, the BBC did its best to make the lives of Doctor Who’s team harder. They didn’t care how successful the show was, they weren’t happy with it. Read about the people who started it all and the challenges the show faced when it first aired: [link]

:bulletblue: Inspector Spacetime [link] For a 30 second spoof of Doctor Who on NBC’s Community, it’s garnered a huge internet fandom. And so, Doctor Who has now, in a strange way, spawned a fifth spin-off. Kind of.

:bulletblue: Lollies and Weetabix [link] [link] For a little nostalgia, even if, like me, you weren’t even born at the time, here are a couple of Doctor Who adverts aired on tele. And: [link]

:bulletblue: Gallifrey One [link] Take a peek at this video describing the events of this year’s Gallifrey One. And for the uninformed, you also get some nice info about the 8th Doctor and other bits. Also, this scene with an adorable kid and Mark Shepphard is win: [link]

:bulletblue: Cosplay [link] [link] Is becoming more and more genderswapped, and of course, Doctor Who is not an exception. Plus, Doctor Who costume inspired outfits to wear every day.

:bulletblue: Blue Peter [link] The world’s longest running tv show, Blue Peter, often runs alongside Doctor Who. Here, Sylvester McCoy gets his butt kicked in Who trivia by young fan Sebastian.

:bulletblue: Opinionated Who Review [link] I’m not the first to be a fan of ‘review series’ in which random internet people inflict their opinions on you, but the video reviews here are a nice to listen to while one goes about their business. Keeping the rant to a minimum and providing nice commentary. Also does Star Trek

My hard drive is fine now. I’m probably going to draw someone from Genesis of the Daleks to continue my run of Davros images – most recently Julian Bleach, as you probably know.

Oh wow, the difference between the unaired first episode and the episode they actually aired is a bit startling. I'm surprised the producer gave them another shot at it. And I had no idea that Doctor Who was originally a super small budget show that was expected to fail. When you look at how popular it is now it's almost amusing to think of how little people thought of it back then.
I must admit the TARDIS being dropped on the Dalek in the commercial got a chuckle out of me.
I really enjoyed the Femme Doctor Who article. I do have to agree it would be nice to see a real hero-female character. The female companions are great! But I do agree they feel really sidekicky at times (although at other times they really do feel like heroes, but not often). Seeing the femme Doctors gave me some ideas for a Doctor Who cosplay I could do! Some of them were awesomely creative!
I want a Doctor Who convention on the East cost! D8 Going to Los Angeles is really really expensive!

We claim this space in the name of quality British television!
Also this one.

So did I. I even got tickets, but my designated person-with-a-car-guardian didn't feel comfortable with it. Plus it was a school weekend.

Wow, didn't know all of that happened. But they get props from me putting up with every scorn from everyone at the BBC.
