Doctor Who Internet brings you relevant videos, articles, and various fan projects of amazing, humorous, or historical relevance.

I’m sure most of you have heard by now that David Yates, director of the later Harry Potter movies, is going to direct a Doctor Who movie. This news has been met with cheers, groans, and extreme wariness. Read more: [link] [link] [link]

:bulletblue: Children In Need [link] The yearly Children in Need. This time Doctor Who has Matt Smith undressing, and selling his costume. It’s selling for at least 12,000 pounds. Watch Matt undress.

:bulletblue: A Dalek in Love [link] I thought it was cute.

:bulletblue: I Am the Very Model [link] Of a Gallifreyan Buccaneer.

:bulletblue: Baker [link] [link] Australian ad and Tom Baker in New Zealand. No doubt more uncovered footage.

:bulletblue: Themes [link] [link] At this point it’s safe to say, I’m never going to stop giving you theme videos. Especially ones involving pianos. Though they’re a bit different. The second is the classic Who theme.

:bulletblue: Costumes [link] Something it seems I forgot to show you several weeks back, in lieu of Halloween festivities.

:bulletblue: Oh Dear. [link] If one were to merge Benny Hill, Doctor Who, and Eminem what would happen? Something truly absurd. Oh my giddy aunt.

That’s it. Now back to a manageable number of links. I finished watching classic, I watched the 1996 movie, and now I’m six stories into Eccleston. Woohoo, Doctor Who!

:bulletgreen:  Grace, I came back to life before your eyes. I held back death. Look, I can't make your dream come true forever, but I can make it come true today!

I want to see the extras called 'The Night and the Doctor' because it seems very amusing to know what the Doctor does while his companions are sleeping. (Does that man ever sleep?)
On the movie...well this is probably the first time I have been so eager for a movie and so worried about it. I feel like there's so much they could do- but I worry about how much they could do wrong. I wouldn't mind seeing a movie about the Time War, but for that they would need the 9th Doctor back and maybe the 8th Doctor. That's a sort of awkward area. Since it's a couple years off, something they could do is bring in the whole 'The Doctor can only regenerate 13 times' thing and deal with that in the movie. But something I really delight in is that they're looking for writers in America and Britain. Secret fan dream of mine that will never happen- I get to help write the script for the movie.

I WANT A DALEK CHRISTMAS TREE!!!!!!........AND A TARDIS FRIDGE~

The first Doctor has slept before. But that was before even the writers knew he wasn't human. Well since McGann and Eccleston are done with DW, I don't think it'll happen. :/

You know, they could easily make the movie about the Doctor, when he was younger and have it be him finding a way to steal that Tardis and leave.

It'd be canon to the show, AND would allow a mainstream audience to get into the franchise.

I'd *love* that. It would be very cool. Maybe hard to get new people invested in an alien from an alien culture. Minus the part about time-space travel and bigger-on-the-inside. But it would be cool.

This quote concerns me "It needs quite a radical transformation to take it into the bigger arena."

Oh dear :/

I'm not worried, remember; the tv show will still be going.

At best, it'll be just like the Peter Cushing Doctor Who films; different continuity and all.

My choices for the Doctor? Geoofrey Rush or Edward Norton.

Wow, I'm really concerned about a Doctor Who movie. Why throw years of wonderful continuity out the window?! I think the movie should be made for the fans. I think movies should quit trying to please everyone.
There....I'm done ranting. :shakefist:
