It’s been three weeks since the last update and things are getting pretty close to the end for series 8. Had this blog updated last week as scheduled there would’ve been little to report. These past two weeks we’ve now seen one of Doctor Who’s newest four writers stretch his muscles and bring out episodes fans have largely had positive responses to.

I have greatly enjoyed these last three episodes, even despite the first’s lack of proper science-ing. There have been calls by some fans to elect Jamie Mathieson to be the future showrunner for Doctor Who. Definitely promising, but let’s see how fast he burns out.
